Now, he’s back with a new single and video. Rock And A Hard Place is a brooding, reflective number that gives us a soft rock instrumental paired with a soulful and expressive vocal. Quiet moments are nicely contrasted by soaring solos and cathartic choruses. You can tell how much of himself Matt has put into it. Influenced by the likes of Queen, Yes, and The Beatles, Matt’s music has more than a touch of the classic about it.
