Kati Cooke is a growing presence on the Yorkshire pop scene. Last night, she put on a show at The Last Bank in Pontefract in front of an appreciative crowd. Today, she’s released her latest single.

On a day where we are bombarded by sappy love songs, Kati has broken the mould by releasing a defiant breakup anthem. Time’s Up gives us some sultry and empowering R&B, sung beautifully by Kati (who has a great voice live by the way.) A punchy chorus proves to be a highlight.

Inspired by the likes of Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter and (York Calling favourite) Madison Beer, Kati is putting Yorkshire on the pop and R&B map.
