Last month, I did a deep-dive feature on Alwyn Morrison, discussing his life and his debut single, The City, inspired by his New York home.

His follow-up single, Lenox Hill, is similarly inspired by his locale. Written with the Emmy-nominated Micheal Kooman and produced by Michael Carey, it’s a delicate, romantic storytelling number which is a perfect celebration of love. Alwyn’s vocals come into their own during a memorable chorus.
The track comes complete with a music video, directed by Scott Mele who has worked with the likes of Kacey Musgraves, Shania Twain and Taylor Swift.
Alywn had only released two singles so far but is showing how his sound can be varied yet coherent. I’ll be keenly awaiting his next release.
Lenox Hill is out now and you can give it a listen below.
