We’ve been featuring the music of Berlin, Germany’s Deray Barboros since the summer of 2024 and it’s fair to say that we’re fans. She does timeless like no other artist does and each new single has been a delight. Her latest is no exception.

This Car is a lingering and stripped-back country ballad which showcases Deray’s signature storytelling and charismatic vocals. Lyrically, it speaks of the point where the past no longer holds one back and the future starts to look bright. The composition perfectly mirrors this sentiment by slowly building with hopeful optimism.
