Lincoln’s The Rotor Delta first appeared on this blog at the start of 2025 and has now appeared on these pages three times. His latest track and video is called The Boys from Waterloo.
By Graeme Smith
While previous singles Howling at the Moon and Summer days are never the same gave us timeless folk rock and stripped-back nostalgia respectively, The Boys from Waterloo draws on the singer songwriter Americana of Bob Dylan. It opens with some raw and jangly acoustic guitar before soulful vocals come in. They tell a story of good times from yesteryear.
The Rotor Delta has a sound that’s so easy to love, and has been able to show a varied by cohesive sound across the three tracks of his we’ve shared. I’m a fan.
The Boys from Waterloo is out now and you can give it a listen below.
