Discovery: Cera Gibson celebrates sexuality in unapologetic track and video

Hailing from Salt Lake City, USA, Cera Gibson is an artist with a fresh perspective and ever-growing fanbase. She’s new to our blog thanks to her latest track and video, I Found God.

By Graeme Smith

Celebrating sensuality in all its glory, I Found God is an unapologetic ode to self-love and sexuality. Its story is told through sultry vocals which are backed by a disco-infused pop instrumental which grows from intimate and stripped-back to a electronic wonderland. Its accompanying video is suitably provocative.

Alongside making music, Cera is an activist, using her platform to uplift women and minorities and challenge the role religion has in keeping people down, particularly in relation to her own conservative Mormon upbringing.

I Found God is taken from Cera’s EP, pinksoak, which is out now. You can give the track a listen below.
