With a vibrant video shot on Orkney with a £15 digital camera, None of It’s Yours Anyway is the new single from British singer-songwriter Xav Clarke.

Opening stripped-back and bright, None of It’s Your Anyway is a track that takes no time in drawing you in. Once Xav’s gentle vocal comes in, you’re hooked, but what really keeps you around is the track’s philosophical lyrics. They remind us of the impermanence of everything, particular abstract concepts like wealth. The track builds to a lively and experimental chorus which seals the deal.

Known primarily for his work as a composer, Xav’s new track shows he’s also an astute singer-songwriter. You’ll be able to catch him live across the UK and Germany in May and June.

None of It’s Yours Anyway will feature on his upcoming debut album, Fossil Fuel, which is set for release 9 May 2025. The single is out now and you can give it a listen below.
