Starting their career busking right here on the streets of York, Glass Caves are an act who continue to go from strength to strength. We’ve been covering them since 2016 and now they’re back with a new single.

Bad Weather is a bright indie pop number that encourages the listener to shake off the doubt and melancholy to embrace hopefulness. It’s the perfect Spring anthem, soundtracking the transition from Winter’s dreary days and preparing us for Summer. As ever, the vocals are beautifully soulful and the indie pop instrumental keeps things lively.

In May, Glass Caves embark on their latest UK tour, with stops at The Crescent, York on 22 May 2025 and Headrow House, Leeds on 31 May 2025. You can grab your tickets here.
