In 2022 and 2023, we shared a lot of Tarn PK‘s music, but haven’t posted much about him lately. Thankfully, that’s now changed with the release of his latest single, and news of an EP on the way.

His new single is called Cry Baby and it’s a richly electronic indie pop number in which he bares his soul. Meditating on a time in his life when he felt stuck, there’s plenty of confessions in the lyrics. The heaviness is tempered by a dreamy, airy instrumental which hits an impressive high in the chorus.

It’s a timely reminder of all the things we love about the Wellington, New Zealand-based artist’s sound. Tarn PK is hopefully releasing his new single, the title track of his new EP, F.O.M.O., in June.
