“I want this to be the Love Story of 2025,” Jack says and his new single certainly has a similar folk-infused delicate pop sound to it. You’ll hear the storytelling style of Ed Sheeran in the mix too, especially in Jack’s relentless delivery in the verse. Of course, there’s plenty of himself in there too, and Jack shows us once again why he’s fast becoming a York Calling favourite.

First hitting our blog last year through his thoughtful EP, Open Heart Surgery, Autumn Girl marks a new chapter for Leeds-Bradford-based Jack Bailey’s sound. It could well mark a breakthrough year for the singer-songwriter.
