Fringe Frontier have a simple but intoxicating formula. They embrace the rough edges, inject their music with plenty of energy, and tell compelling stories. It all adds up to a sound that’s one of my favourites in a while. I’ve shared six of their singles on this blog now, and I will most likely be sharing plenty more.

Their upcoming album, Songs From the Wirehouse, was mixed by two-time Grammy winner and Midlake drummer McKenzie Smith, and mastered by Grammy-nominee Kim Rosen. Based on the evidence so far, it’s going to be something special.
