The Muster Point Project, led by Kevin Franco, is synonymous with hooky melodies and storytelling lyrics. Their latest single, Stuck in Transit, is no exception.

The track is perhaps the liveliest of Calgary, Canada-based Franco’s we’ve heard so far. It gets the party started straight away, adding elements of stoner rock into the folk pop we know of his. Its whimsical story is fulfilling and finds its way to multiple happy endings. As ever, Franco’s charismatic vocals steal the show.

Stuck in Transit was written by Canadian author, Geoff Moore, after a trip to Amsterdam, Netherlands. “I didn’t realize the transit system was so precise,” he says. “Tried to board a tram through the exit door – inclement weather – then I stood in the wrong place inside. I was yelled at even though I knew enough to remove my knapsack, keep it between my feet.”
