Taking on complicated relationships, Better is the latest alt pop single from American singer-songwriter Clara Lars.

Lars’ latest is a dark and sultry number with charismatic vocals that explodes into life during its chorus. The lyrics suggest violence, speaking of a complicated relationship while the whole things feels Lana Del Rey-esque. Surprise, surprise, it was co-produced by Kieron Menzies who has previously worked with Del Rey.

We’ve been featuring Lars’ music since 2022, discovering her through the incredible single, Count, Count, Count. In 2024, we followed that up with a share of her track, Nobody’s Tired. I’m a big fan of what the young artist is doing.
