Rocking up on the hallowed stage of O2 Academy, Leeds, The K’s didn’t disappoint. We caught some photos of them in action.

The evening kicked off with Lady from Mars – a performance full of energy and a great performance to open the evening.  Day We Ran followed – I love their sunny surf inspired music and they didn’t disappoint.  For both bands it was really good to hear a wider catalogue than available online.

Then, following an audience sing along to the PA system playing some indie favourites, on came the K’s.  Loads of energy and a rock-star performance.  Near the end of the set they covered Dirty Old Town by The Pogues before announcing that they love Leeds.  And tonight, Leeds loved you right back!

“The good thing about this band is that every song is fantastic,” noted one punter.  The crowd were right up for it, with many singing along to every song.
