The Muster Point Project‘s latest track, Believe in Yourself, is one intended to lift the spirits.

Believe in Yourself is a soaring, bittersweet number that combines a rich instrumental with soulful vocals. They find the light in darkness, ultimately encouraging us to back ourselves during a memorable chorus. As ever, band leader Kevin Franco’s lyrics are simple yet poignant.

The track was written in the wake of Franco learning that his partner had cancer in the attempt to give her hope. Now, we can all benefit from its uplifting message.

“I didn’t want the message of the song to be too specific, or lost in metaphor, so it’s straightforward in words and message on purpose – the song is for her, but it can be for anyone listening.” says Franco.

Featuring alongside him on the single are Marcelo Effori on drums and Oleg Pisarenko on keys and piano.
