Weddings & Funerals is slow burning and emotional hyperpop that tells a powerful story of lost and longing. Vocal effects are deployed well to heighten the emotion while the lyrics contain serious substance. Things end dynamic and cinematic. 

The self-produced track explores the idea of losing a connection with a once-important person in one’s life, with the relationship reduced to brief catch ups at formal occasions.
