Thanks to their first single of 2025, Wild Horse return to our blog with a song that encapsulates the excitement, uncertainty, and hope that come with navigating a new romantic connection.
By Graeme Smith
Their new single, Overthinking, is bright and wistful indie pop that opens with stripped-back electronica and soulful vocals. The lyrics tug at the heart strings during an understated verse before things get groovy in the chorus. There’s a powerful romanticism about it all as the protagonist grapples with his feelings.
Hailing from East Sussex, Wild Horse are an indie pop outfit formed by brothers Jack and Henry Baldwin alongside their lifelong friend Ed Barnes. In 2024, they were joined by Jade Snowdon on keys and violin.
Overthinking was written by Jack Baldwin and produced by Gary Stevenson. It’s out now and you can give it a listen below.
