Wishes, Dreams is the first new single from Temperature Falls after a two-year break, and it’s a welcome return.

Their comeback single is a suitably dreamy track characterised by low, longing notes and airy vocals. They combine into quite the cocktail through the first verse before things explode into post-rock in the chorus halfway through. The composition settle back down to a moody simmer before the track arrives at a percussive breakdown that brings it to a close.

“This song is about feeling that angst towards your partner that your relationship is worth something more is worth fighting for!” say the band.

An alternative duo from Oslo, Norway, Temperature Falls featured prominently on our pages in 2022 and 2023, capturing Jane’s attention enough to give them an interview. Since then, we’ve had to wait over two years for new music, but it’s sure been worth the wait.
