A firm favourite of ours, Frank Joshua returns with weighty new single, Melanie Klein.

Coming complete with a video, Melanie Klein is an emotional effort from Joshua. The music and images combine to tell an intimate and captivating tale. The lyrics, which tell a hard-hitting story of a relationship on the rocks, are smoothly delivered by the vocals. Things get cinematic as the track continues towards its lingering finish.

Recorded in London and Exeter, the track’s recording process involved importing piano arrangements by Anthony England into producer Tony White’s grand piano samples to create its rich and melancholic sound.

I’ve been a fan of Frank Joshua’s music for a while now, so I was pleased to hear he’s got a new album on the way. It’s set for release in January 2026.
