Dying Habit gets us moving with hard rock single

Welsh rockers Dying Habit have featured before on our blog, but it’s been a while. Their latest single reminds us why we’re fans.

By Graeme Smith

Opening with a killer riff, Three Letter View sets its stall out early. Passionate vocals float over a driving rhythm and licks of guitar, blending elements of classic rock, hard rock, blues, and indie with an apparent ease. It’s the kind of composition that you can dance to or bang your head – versatile and move-inducing.

The Wales-based rockers Dying Habit first featured on our blog in 2022 as part of Jane’s Grunge Forever round-up. They featured a couple more times after that, with Jane even posing them a few questions in an interview. It was 2024 when we last shared their music, so they were due another post.

The band consist of Mark Jones on drums, Daniel Garner on bass, Alan Hart on guitar, and Nathan Jones on vocals. Their new album THERE IS NO SKY is set for release later this year.

You can keep up to date with them by following them on Facebook, Spotify, TikTok, YouTube and via their website.
