Her version of his Skinny Love is the furthest away from its original yet. While Bon Iver’s rendition is stripped-back and intimate, Estella Dawn gives is an electronic edge. The emotion of its heart-breaking story isn’t lost. If anything, she adds to it through her sultry delivery.

“This version is definitely more intense than the original,” Estella shares. “I felt like the lyrics needed a little more gas behind them — more pressure, more ache. So, I leaned into that and let the tension build.”
