The Cosmos hooks into the idea that all of us, the natural world, and the whole universe are connected, made from the same stuff. It’s a well-trodden path in music, but Mike B & the Universe manage to break new ground thanks to their storytelling lyrics and groovy blues style. The result feels at once timeless and modern.
A Los Angeles, USA-based songwriter, singer, and producer, Mike Bücher already has three albums under his belt as Mike B & the Universe. They’ve just hit my radar now, but I’ll certainly be sharing more from them in future.
