Taken from upcoming fifth album, OCD, set for release 5 September 2025, Stay Close By is the gripping new single from singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Tamar Berk.

Stay Close By opens with fuzzy, distorted guitar and melancholic vocals, providing an instant sense of contrast and emotion. Things continue to be gripping through an understated verse before growing into a soaring chorus. There, rousing drums join in, creating a stirring soundscape. Things end huge and cathartic thanks to an instrumental that leaves it all out there.

“This song is about a hopeful optimism that hasn’t quite panned out yet,” Berk explains.

Originally hitting our radar in September 2024, Stay Close By is the third single of Berk’s that we’ve shared. She’s an artist that keeps us coming back for more.
