In the modern age, bands make their name on Instagram and TikTok. Yet, they need to back themselves up with an impressive live presence. Sheffield’s The Bad Actors have done both.

Their new single, Offside Clarity, has relentless riffs that meet a certain funkiness in an intoxicating combination. Poetic lyrics are delivered with an understated passion in the verse before things get anthemic in the chorus. It’s clear to see why the track has been doing well on the live circuit. It’s got an infectious energy that’s easy to dance to.
