You might know AC Scott, real name Alison Craig, as a broadcaster, radio host, novelist, and The One Show familiar face. Now, she’s discovered a second life as a musician.
By Graeme Smith
A degenerative lung disease forced the Aberdeen-born Craig away from broadcasting but doesn’t hold her back as an artist in her debut album Out Of The Blue. Full of authentic tales second chances and defying expectations, it’s a beautifully cinematic collection for those seeking out the uplifting. Bright yet nuanced pop rock centred on piano is the order of the day across its fourteen tracks, but there are a few surprises along the way too.
Out Of The Blue is out now via Right Track/Universal Distribution, and you can listen to it below.
