Lusa Morena are a London-based alternative rock act fronted by Portuguese singer songwriter Bárbara, who brings her own experience of depression and trauma to the band’s music. They’ve just released their first single and, from the evidence, they’re a band that we should be really excited about. Their debut is called Six Sessions.

Rivals are an American emo rock band who first hit our radar around this time last year through their killer team up with Dutch Melrose, Change Things. It’s a track that still randomly runs through my head now, such is the testament to its earworm nature. As such, I was excited when I saw they had a new track and video out. It’s called Dark Matter.
