Mince are a post-punk band from just down the road in Leeds. Formed in 2021 by school friends Jamie Haddington, Owen Bennett and George McDermott, the three rounded off their current line-up with Clem Pulham Creagh on bass and Matthew Banks on drums. Their latest track is a homage to being care-free. It’s called Misprint.

Slow Down Sonic are a Launceston, Australia-based pop-punk trio consisting of Alex Wadley on bass and vocals, Alex Britton on guitar and Daim Shelton on drums. The two Alexes are life-long friends who later recruited Daim to form the sound you can hear on their new EP Depths.

Seemingly as prolific as he is imaginative, Somerset-based alternative rock act Future Cavemen, real name Joe Tennant, is back with his second EP. I had the pleasure of reviewing his first EP I, late last year so I couldn’t wait to get stuck into this one. It’s called II.
