Lorraine Klaasen and Mongezi Ntaka are a pair of South African musicians who have teamed up to release their takes on some of Southern Africa’s Township music songbook. Entitled Ukubonga, or “gratitude”, it’s the pairs way of giving thanks to some of Southern Africa’s most celebrated singers and composers.

Viscula are a rock band who have featured a couple of times before on the blog. Formed in Lutsk, Ukraine twenty years ago, they are now globetrotters, spending time recording in places such as China, USA and here in Britain. Their EP We Are One Body was originally recorded in 2017 during their America phase, but has only found its way to release last month.
