What’s better than a new track and video by New York, USA-based psych rock outfit Deep Dive Species? Two new tracks and videos!

Released a few days after ‘ad’ for their 2022 debut album Aquaphilia, YOLO, Salt and Water follows on from their previously released 2024 single Adventus. It shows the lighter side of the Deep Dive Species sound, with some airy, organic layers building a sense of atmosphere before we arrive at a hypnotic groove.

Both Adventus and Salt and Water will feature on the band’s upcoming second album, yet to be formally announced. Based on the evidence so far, it’s going to be one not to be missed.

Salt and Water was composed and produced by Vadim Milistin and Sergey Popovich, and mastered by Bill Sellar at Super Audio Mastering. It’s available in all the usual places and you can check out its video, created by Segmentality, below.
