Lauren Mascitti is a country and jazz singer songwriter who is probably best known for her appearance on the TV show American Idol. Her new track One Life Stand caught my attention through is breezy instrumentals and loving message.

Lauren’s voice carries such a sense of charisma it was impossible not to fall in love a little while listening to One Life Stand. It drifts over an easy-listening arrangement with jazz influences, painting a picture of domestic bliss.

Born in Ohio, USA, she now finds herself one of the many resident musicians of Nashville, Tennessee. Lauren also works as a registered nurse. Yet somehow, during a pandemic, she’s also found time to write music and create art.
