Eph See is an American bedroom pop artist who has thrown back to her teen days in her new track The Pill.
By Graeme Smith
Starting with a gentle acoustic guitar accompaniment to Eph See’s melancholic vocals the track evolves into lo-fi electro pop with drum loops and bass beats. Lyrically, The Pill provides an insight into the inner-monologue of a teenage girl as seen from her older self and there is a great attention to detail which brings the story to life.
For the production, Eph See teamed up with her friend Lucas (who performs under the name LEXIM). The Pill is a wonderful introduction to her music. I think it would play well in a playlist alongside contemporary Phoebe Bridgers. Check out The Pill below.
