Going Underground #20 – Gary Stewart

In the latest episode of the Going Underground podcast, co-host Miles Salter chats to York-based musician Gary Stewart about his new music and Paul Simon.

By Graeme Smith

As we learn in the chat, Paul Simon has had a huge influence on Gary’s music career. Gary is the man behind the popular show Graceland which plays homage to the folk-pop legend. In their chat, he tells Miles just why that is.

As well as the chat, we also get to have a listen to two of Gary’s tracks – Hot To Trot and Leopard. Both tracks feature on his new album Lost, Now Found, set to be released 14 June.
