The song is an indie folk track with some pop sensibilities to it, although the folk aspects are more prominent, which I preferred. Austin has a stunning voice and it really suits the style of music he creates, accompanying the acoustic guitar melody in style. Lyrically, the track is a love letter to someone that hurt Austin once (as recommended by his therapist), giving it a personal touch.
