Hailing from Glasgow, Beafets are a four-piece indie rock band who have already caught the ear of Trainspotting start Robert Carlyle. I feel a little late to the party on this one, but having just discovered them through their new track Falling Knives, I knew I had to share it.

Falling Knives is a perfect specimen of guitar-driven, anthemic indie rock. With a melancholic mood, subdued but expressive vocals tell a tale of feeling down and lost in the verse before the chorus explodes with optimism.
There are so many indie bands that I could compare Beafets to, but none would be exact. It’s probably best to say they are taking on the British indie rock baton and running with it. You can hear Falling Knives for yourself below.
