Hailing from Shoreham-by-Sea, a small town near Brighton on the south coast, Fearn is a folk pop act who does things a little differently. Usually an instrumentalist, he has stepped up to the mic for the first time for his new single. It’s called Waiting Room.

He’s not alone on the track though as he’s joined by an international collection of friends – Jake Calladine in Bristol, Folarin Akinmade in London, and Lee Stuart in Wellington, New Zealand. Together they create rich and emotive harmonies that pour over minimalist instrumentals. Lyrically it explores the concept of having to set the direction of your life too young, and subsequently trying to find peace. It’s lovely stuff.
Waiting Room is a beautiful and unique track from an artist I’ll be keeping an eye on. You can check it out below.
