Aliénore is a Berlin, Germany-based, French-British alternative folk singer songwriter. Through her ethereal new track Paradise Lost she has created a whole new genre – dubbed “witchy” pop.

The description suits. There is some haunting about Paradise Lost. Echoing, isolated guitar opens things up before Aliénore’s vocals come in, channelling the energy of Goth greats All About Eve. Moving into the chorus, the melody becomes unsettling and you are drawn entirely into the shadowy world of the human soul that Aliénore paints.
Aliénore was born and raised in South West France by British parents before relocating to Germany. I love her unique sound and perspective and can’t wait to hear more from her. I hope you’ll agree. You can check out Paradise Lost below.
