Kaeley Jade first hit our radar in May this year through her emotive single Ego. Now the Edmonton, Canada indie pop singer songwriter is back with a new one, perfect for those of us not yet ready to give up on Summer. It’s called Beneath The Lies.

Beneath The Lies opens with gritty electric guitar and vibrant percussion. Kaeley’s vocals are wonderfully compelling, giving the bright arrangement a touch of emotion. The track builds to an uplifting chorus that will bring joy to fans of Maggie Rogers or Taylor Swift.
The track is taken from Kaeley’s debut album Turpentine which is set for release later this month on the 23rd. Based on the evidence so far, it’s set to be a cracking debut and I can’t wait to hear it. I hope you’ll agree.
