Discovery: Resting B!tch Face

Resting B!tch Face is a new punk band primarily made up of female and non-binary students from the Acadamy of Contemporary Music in Birmingham. Their debut single takes a swipe at the current government’s handling of the cost of living crisis and its rule-breaking during COVID lockdown. It’s called BYOB.

BYOB opens with a powerful, chant of “hey BoJo, let’s go”, perfectly setting the scene for the story that’s to come. Alongside having something to say, the track is a belter, with lively drums, big riffs and a chorus of charismatic vocals. It’s everything you’d want from a politically-charged punk track.

It might be their first single, but Resting B!tch Face are off to a flying. Definitely keep an eye on these guys. You can check out BYOB below.
