Alayisha first featured on this blog back in May with her gentle yet heart-breaking track Crazy. Now she’s back with a new one. Featuring Katya Naphtali, it’s called Redemption.

Redemption is a piece of neo-soul that channels classic song-writing energy through modern pop sensibilities. Similar artists are Amy Winehouse and Arlo Parks, but the comparison isn’t exact. Alayisha is definitely doing something different with her music and Redemption is a love song like no other, focussing on friendship and communication.
