Blankiflúr is a Reykjavík, Iceland-based electronic pop artist who has just caught my attention thanks to her new team up with fellow Icelandic musician Jerald Copp. It’s called Modular Heart.

The pair have worked together before, when writing and producing Blankiflúr’s debut album Hypnopompic, released last year. There’s an obvious chemistry between them that’s on show in Modular Heart. It’s the kind of track that’s greater than the sum of its parts. Soulful vocals, layers of electronica and mournful lyrics combine wondrously.
If you’re looking for a song to transport you to another world today, look no further than Modular Heart. It’s a wonderful introduction to Blankiflúr’s world for us. I look forward to getting more acquainted with it. You can check out Modular Heart below.
