LA-based duo Blaze Power and John Bonilla, aka Possessor, first came to my attention a couple of weeks ago thanks to their “new Goth” track Ice Paradise. Now, they’re already back on the blog with another track, this time accompanied by a video. It’s called Modern Monster.

The moody video follows the late night adventures of a computer nerd living in a retro-futuristic world. Darkly seductive, it combines sexuality with something altogether more sinister, all playing out against a gentle industrial track that combines hypnotic synths and delicate vocals.
Modern Monster features alongside Ice Paradise on the duo’s debut EP Fatal Fixations, which is available now in all the usual places. You can watch the video for Modern Monster below.
