Italy’s Eugenia Post Meridiem lit up our radar in September with their wonderfully unique single willpower. It was shortly followed by around my neck, and now they’ve completed their trio of singles from their new album like i need tension. The final instalment is called whisper.

Eugenia Post Meridiem are a band who continue to surprise me. Their sound is very difficult to categorise, with elements of indie rock, jazz and psychedelia all blitzed together. Whisper is a soft and ponderous offering that rises and falls like a gently breathing chest. Whatever it is, it’s simply beautiful.
