London-based pop rock artist Pedro Samp first hit my radar early this year through his track Fireworks. It was a song that offered hidden depth underneath a welcoming musical canvas so I was excited when I saw he had a new one out. It’s called Fabricated Dreams.

Fabricated Dreams is a dark and bluesy offering. Mingling within the soundscape are elements are electronica, ’90s rock and ’80s new wave, which makes it difficult to place genre-wise. Among Pedro’s influence are Eric Clapton and Lana Del Rey and a collaboration between the two would sit nicely alongside Fabricated Dreams on a playlist. All I know is that’s it’s a beautifully complex world that Pedro has created, and his pleading vocals are what you stick around for.
It’s more unconventional pop gold from Pedro Samp. You can give Fabricated Dreams a listen below.
