Banana Continuity is the whimsical and experimental project of a London-based artist named Ryan, though he may have you convinced that it’s a self-aware fruit that’s making the music. His debut single, Come On Now! offers a mix of rock, funk and trap.

The funk elements come through strongly right from the opening of Come On Now! Its groove eases nicely into robotic yet somehow emotive vocals that pose the question: are you fed up of being human? The first verse gives way to a catchy breakdown before we’re straight back into the groove.

This is such a bright and fresh debut from an artist I’m looking forward to learning a lot more about. I hope you’ll be too. You can check out Come On Now! below.
