Aria is the third track I’m sharing this year from Welsh experimental artist Bethan Lloyd, and with each new release I fall in love with her music a little more.

Bethan’s latest combines electronic dance elements with traditional folk refrains to create something utterly mesmerising. There’s something so familiar, yet so fresh about Bethan’s style, and her vocals are beautifully intoxicating. The track is perfectly complemented by the video which sees Bethan visit neolithic sites in a homage to Britain’s spiritual roots.

The world ought to be very excited about Bethan Lloyd. She’s bringing oft-neglected forms of music and making them accessible to the masses.
