Paramore are a band that have risen back to public prominence recently thanks to their critically-acclaimed new album This Is Why. It’s reminded us all of the bangers in their back catalogue and this might have been what inspired Shaun Mason and Anji Kaizen to record their own version of the band’s original track Decode.

Decode is best known for being on the Twilight film soundtrack, and it’s the perfect music for angsty teen vampires. In this duet, Shaun and Anji make it their own, honouring the emotion of the original but giving it a twist through male and female vocals and a dreamier feel.

This is our first time sharing Shaun’s music, but Anji has featured on our blog a fair few times now. The two work beautifully together in this cover. You can give Decode a listen below.
