Neve Bowen is a London-based singer songwriter who used coronavirus lockdown to start her recording journey at age fifteen. Three years later, she’d recorded over 50 songs, and the one that’s got her on my radar is called Song for Anna.

Neve has found her musical direction influenced by classic albums like David Bowie’s Hunky Dory and Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, as well as more contemporary artists like Wolf Alice and Lana Del Rey. The result is something that sits at the pop end of the rock spectrum, with brooding bass and percussion paired with delicate, soulful vocals and relatable lyrics.
Neve moved to London from her native Bristol to study, and has been playing solo live shows across the capital. To have such an accomplished sound, and an impressive back catalogue of music at such a young age is impressive. I can’t wait to hear what she does next.
