Official Shannon is a London-based artist who first hit my radar last summer through her empowering pop anthem Dress To Please. Now she’s back with a team up with SFM 35.8. It’s called Never Gonna Be Her.

Never Gonna Be Her marks Shannon’s first collaboration. SFM 35.8 is a guitarist and producer who performs “intergalatic radio jazz beats hip-hop funk boom bap”. That might seem like a lot but it translates to groovy pop based in afrobeat. Shannon’s vocals are as soulful and expressive as always. Never Gonna Be Her is a track that’ll make you dance and feel in equal measure.
