Liposuction are a Brisbane, Australia-based alternative rock and pop band who have just released their debut single. A reflection on recklessness and self-destruction, it’s called She Hz.

Opening with moody bass and synth, She Hz instantly feels like something a little different from the norm. Vocals come in, delivering darkly hedonistic lyrics before a cathartic guitar lick follows, completing a heady picture of youthful abandon cruising towards a downfall. It’s a stunning debut, and I’m looking forward to hearing more from Liposuction.

She Hz was written and produced by Sunday Hunter. She plays guitar and synth, as well as providing vocals. Drums are by Guy Drory and bass by Shannon Kilcoyne. It was mixed by Heath Storrie and mastered by Steve Smart. You can give the track a listen below.
