Shany Bartal is a Tel Aviv, Israel-based alternative pop rock artist who has just caught my attention thanks to her bluesy new track Ms. Munroe.

There’s an exciting vibrancy to Ms. Munroe right from the off, with bright horns, lively percussion and rumbling bass. Yet, the shining star of the piece has to be Shany’s characterful vocals that are utterly mesmerising. The song title refers to Jill Munroe from Charlie’s Angels and the track certainly brings forth a ’70s vibe and a sense of female empowerment.
Production for Ms. Munroe comes from Joseph E-shine. You can give it a listen below.
